The Broward County Parks and Recreation Division offers residents and visitors a range of activities that includes aquatics, batting cages, boat rides, water skiing, horseback riding, target ranges and skate parks. It also conducts adventure camps that offer various activities, such as bowling, skating, and trips to water parks and museums. Additionally, the division organizes horse camps that provide students with riding lessons, as well as instructions on riding equipment, horse care, and breeds and colors of horses. The division also provides opportunities for recreational boating and swimming. The Broward County Parks and Recreation Division maintains its office in Oakland Park, Fla.
