Broward Center for the Performing Arts is one of the leading theaters in the United States. Located in Fort Lauderdale, Fla., Broward Center has been operational for more than 50 years. A part of Riverwalk Arts and Entertainment District, the center comprises a more than 3,000-seat Au-Rene and Amaturo theaters. Founded by the Benjamin Thompson Associates, it hosts a wide variety of activities and events, such as Broadway musicals, plays, modern dance and ballets, classical music shows, Grammies, and pop concerts.
