Alexander Kulik, M.D., is a board-certified cardiovascular surgeon at Baptist Health and the vice chief of cardiac surgery at Boca Raton Regional Hospital. He focuses on coronary artery bypass surgery, valve repair and replacement, aortic surgery and endovascular aortic stent graft repairDr. Kulik earned his medical degree from University of Toronto Medical School and completed his cardiac surgery residency training at the University of Ottawa Heart Institute. He participated in an advanced aortic surgery fellowship at Missouri Baptist Medical Center followed by another fellowship in endovascular surgery at the Arizona Heart Institute. During his surgical training, Dr. Kulik earned a master’s degree in public health from Harvard University. He is actively involved in cardiac surgery research and has authored more than 90 peer-reviewed publications. His work has been featured in the Journal of the American Medical Association, Circulation and the Journal of Thoracic and Cardiovascular Surgery. In addition to his surgical and research activities, Dr. Kulik also regularly lectures at the Charles E. Schmidt College of Medicine at Florida Atlantic University where he is an affiliate professor of surgery.
