107 Taste

107 Taste was established by Chef Yu and her husband Dr. Lei. Opening a restaurant has always been Chef Yu’s childhood dream. Chef Yu was raised by her grandparents in a small village in northwestern China. Her grandmother worked as a Chef for more than 20 years, and her grandfather’s family used to own a local famous wonton restaurant in Szechuan, China back in the 1930s. Her entire childhood memories are full of grandparents’ care, and she grew up with unbeatable grandmother’s love meal. After married with Dr. Lei, the couple decided to work hard together and make Yu’s dream come true, so they started to open the first 107 Taste on February, 2016, in Westchester, FL on 107the Ave (this is how the name “107 Taste” comes from!), right across FIU main campus. Since then, the couple had been working even harder because they want to bring gourmet food to more people in south FL!
