Founded in 1886, Goldey-Beacom College is a private, coeducational college offering associate, bachelor s and master s degrees in various fields of business. The college is spread over an area of more than 24 acres that comprise four apartment-style residence halls, academic fields, and residential facilities for academic staff and administration. Its Joseph West Jones Center houses the library, gymnasium, fitness center, cantina, chapel and bookstore. It offers degrees in accounting, finance, management, human resource management, marketing, computer information systems, international business, management information systems, and society and culture. The college has athletic teams for softball, cross country, golf, basketball, soccer, volleyball and tennis. Located in Wilmington, Del., Goldey-Beacom College is accredited by the Middle States Commission on Higher Education, Association of Collegiate Business Schools and Programs, and the International Assembly for Collegiate Business Education.
