About thirty years go, Rory's began as a simple establishment that served Darien, Connecticut with bar food, cold brew and a congenial atmosphere. It was an unpretentious joint where a weary day-worker could grab a burger and enjoy an adult beverage in the company of other like-minded folks, mostly commuters from the City. Times have changed, commuters nowadays telecommute from home and the suburbs that used to end at Rory's front door was now extend well past New Haven. For the folks who do commute now find that 95 is pretty much a parking lot anytime you need to use it. So, times are tougher than they were, not so simple, but the mission of Rory's hasn't been affected by the passage of time. It's still just a place to enjoy a burger and a drink with friends.

Nice very casual spot for simple "pub" food. The clam chowder is really good. burgers, etc. Everything is good. Staff are all super friendly. Thumbs up.
