History

Ginger & Pickles began in 1995, when Nancy's friends and family kept asking her to bring not one, or even two items, but all the food for parties and family gatherings. Word quickly spread and Ginger & Pickles Catering was born. Now, Nancy indulges her love of baking and cooking with G&P Cookies, Cooking Classes, and Dessert Catering.

Our Cookies ~ G&P Cookies are soft and chewy and fabulous ... the chocolate chunks are huge, the coconut is irresistible, and the ginger bendies don't snap. Resistance is futile. Eating just one is not an option. G&P Cookies love to travel. Send someone special our signature red box, with a personalized card and ribbon, chock full of two dozen of our fabulous favorites. We care. It's that simple. G&P Cookies are handcrafted in small batches, and baked to order in the Purple Kitchen. We ship Monday through Wednesday only, so that your cookies arrive fresh and almost-still-warm-from-the-oven. Our Classes ~ Enjoy a hands-on cooking experience, featuring cooking techniques, knife skills, recipes, great food, and lots of fun. Come hungry! Check our website for the current class schedule. Or create your own class - gather your friends, choose a date, and enjoy a night of cooking, fun, and laughter! Book weekend dates early! Our Catering ~ Dessert catering is our specialty. Loads of luscious little treats - mini cheesecakes, lemon tarts, mini apple pie tarts - as well as our cakes and other goodies, are baked just for you, and beautifully presented.
