The Darien Youth Commission advocates the development and coordination of programs and activities for the youth of Darien. Seven adults, a Youth Advisory Committee of eight to 16 high-school students, and a full-time Youth Director make up the Commission. Through collaboration with outside agencies and organizations, and help from hundreds of volunteers, the Commission provides numerous activities for young people in town.
The TOPS program (Teen Options), offers Middle School students more than 15 social and recreational events throughout the school year. Many events for DHS students held at The Depot are also co-sponsored by the Commission.
TOPS registration forms, along with the Commission’s meeting agendas and minutes can be found on the Town of Darien’s website.
