Berlin Town Hall is a municipal division of the city of Berlin, Conn. The organization is responsible for overseeing and maintaining a variety of municipal services. Berlin Town Hall s town manager executes and implements public policy as created by the Berlin Town Council, while the building department processes building permits from 1961 and later. The organization s health department provides food service inspections, motel inspections, septic and well permits. The Town Hall s planning and zoning department is responsible for historic district and land use applications, as well as zoning information. The youth services department offers youth programs and case management assessments. Berlin Town Hall also operates the Town Clerks Office, which issues liquor permits, marriage licenses and sporting licenses. Other divisions include the voters registrar, tax and finance departments, assessors and treasurers offices, engineering department and social services.
