The restaurant is owned and operated by a husband and wife, Ve and Dung, who emigrated from Vietnam in the '70s and have been operating Vietnamese restaurants around Connecticut since 1983. Bamboo Grill is Zagat rated, and has received attention from around the state since the mid-'90s. The restaurant is open only for dinner, seven days a week, but the owners also cater events and have a take-out menu.
