Augie & Ray's Drive-In has been a staple of East Hartford since 1946, offering a taste of nostalgia and delicious comfort food. Founded by two local cops, Ray Hutt and Augie Bria, this drive-in restaurant started as a hot dog stand and dairy bar serving the working class neighborhood near Pratt & Whitney.

McDonald's WISHES they had this. The food is delicious, the price could not be more right, and the place is charming like you wouldn't believe. This is the classic American burger stand.
