Dr. Cavallo received his medical training at The Mount Sinai School of Medicine and was asked to remain at The Mount Sinai Medical Center for his orthopedic residency. He is extensively published in orthopedic literature on a variety of topics including enhancement of fracture healing, joint reconstruction, shoulder instability and anterior cruciate ligament reconstruction. Dr. Cavallo has lectured at numerous international conferences, including the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons and the American Orthopaedic Society for Sports Medicine. He is also a proud recipient of the Castle Connelly Top Doctor Award 2016 for Orthopedic Sports Medicine and Shoulder Surgery, and is listed as a Top Doctor New York Metro Area, Westchester Magazine Top Doctor 2016 and Fairfield County Magazine To Doctor 2016. Additionally, he was chosen for the Vitals Patient’s Choice 5 Year Award spanning 2016-2021.

Dr. Michael Marchese is a board-certified endocrinologist who specializes in caring for patients diagnosed with diabetes, obesity, and other metabolic conditions. He also has a particular interest in treating patients within the hospital setting and working to help improve glycemic control in patients with type 2 diabetes. Dr. Marchese’s research focuses on war veteran patients and the prevalence of incidental adrenal enlargement on CT scans of the abdomen, as well as their risk of prostate cancer in type 2 diabetes with vitamin D deficiency. He has presented his research at endocrinology conferences. In addition to his research, Dr. Marchese is an academic and teaches residents at Stamford Hospital and medical students at Columbia University. He enjoys facilitating classes and mentoring the next generation of physician leaders as they learn evidence-based care approaches and best practices for the delivery of excellent patient care. Throughout his career, Dr. Marchese is committed to active volunteering. As an undergraduate, he volunteered at St. Vincent’s Catholic Medical Center in New York, supporting staff throughout the hospital and winning the Volunteer Service Award. As a medical student, he provided free clinic sessions and medical care to people in Dominica, donating time, financial resources, and medical supplies. As a physician, he is a presenter at free diabetes education classes throughout the community, working to help patients understand disease management and ways to improve overall health.
