History
We wanted to bring outstanding breakfast and lunch dishes together with really good coffee. After leaving our restaurant and coffee shop jobs in 2005 we managed to get Toast open by December of 2006. We are located at the entrance to beautiful and historic Main Street in Littleton, on the south east corner of Santa Fe and Bowles Avenues. After winning Westwords best breakfast award from Jason Sheehan right after we opened, we found that one dining room was not enough, and then expanded into the dance studio next door. Through the years since, we have focused on making everything better with the help of our great staff.
Specialties
We are an independent restaurant specializing in upscale local-American cuisine. We start by sourcing the best local products, like rustic hand shaped bread from Izzio's Artisan Bakery, Polidori Sausage, fresh roasted Coda coffee and locally farmed eggs. We prepare nearly everything from scratch, from cutting our own steaks and roasting our turkeys, to grinding our own corned beef hash. After all that, we get to have a little fun with it and serve some unique items, like our savory and spicy Sante Fe French toast stuffed with eggs, chorizo, green chilies, and melted cheese, or our Nutty pancakes topped with Nutella, banana creme, and Nutter Butters. Hungry? Come visit us for what my mom says is the best breakfast and lunch in Colorado.
