Bill and Jill Smyth founded their Palomares Canyon winery in 1986. They produce a full line of reds and whites from local and Central Coast grapes, and are especially renowned for their many ports and dessert wines, such as White Chocolate Port. The winery is open on weekends or by appointment for visits and tastings; and is also a scenic and affordable event venue. An October fundraiser for local youth and community gardening is one of many events held on the grounds.
