Buckelew Program Admin Office
Established in 1970, Buckelew Programs provide independent living services for transition-aged youth, adults and seniors with mental illness in Marin, Sonoma and Napa Counties. It is a nonprofit organization that creates homes and jobs. It offers wellness/recovery supports, supported employment and affordable, supported housing services. Based in San Rafael, Calif., the organization provides a comprehensive approach to assisting people to secure and maintain employment. Its services include pre-employment counseling, vocational training, job development, placement and job-coaching. In early 2001, Buckelew Programs provided new services to mental health clients in the County's Forensic Assertive Community Treatment (FACT) team.
