The Berkeley Scholars to Cal program seeks to provide a more comprehensive remedy to the problem of inequalities in our schools by providing 75 African American and Latino students with eight years of assistance before their high school graduation. This includes summer and after-school academies, case managers and student mentors and has been wildly successful, with student graduates of the program excelling far beyond their similarly situated classmates. Contact the program to make a donation, volunteer your time or to nominate a student you would like to see involved in the program.
