Founded in 1985, Sunwest Electric is one of the largest merit shop electrical contractors in the United States. The company serves the industrial, commercial, retail, multifamily, distribution and institutional markets. It offers construction, designing, industrial and telecom services. Sunwest Electric also provides technical training, journeyman upgrade, supervisory, managerial and professional development programs. It has a staff of more than 240 employees. The company supports several youth athletic groups, such as Little League Baseball, Junior Basketball, Football, Soccer, Softball, Dance and Cheerleading organizations. Sunwest Electric has completed several projects for K-Mart, Nestle, Los Virgenes Municipal Water, Home Depot, Macy's, Walmart, Kohl's Department Stores, Smart & Final and Cost Plus World Markets.
