The Sathya Sai Baba Center in San Francisco, CA is the oldest Sai Center in the Bay Area and one of the first in the USA, established in 1974 by a group of American Sai devotees. It started as a temporary home for devotees traveling to see Swami and has since moved to a beautiful Victorian house in the Mission District, generously donated by a devotee.
The center offers a prayer hall, study room, bookstore library, and kitchen, and has witnessed numerous miracles and welcomed devotees from around the world. They hold weekly devotional services with bhajans and study circles, as well as a weekly service project to prepare and distribute food to the homeless in different parts of the city.
