History
I have been in private practice since 1999 and have worked with all ages and learning disabilities. When I began my journey to become an educational therapist we discovered that our son was diagnosed with Asperger's Syndrome and I learned how to navigate the school system and what we needed to do to meet his needs. Our son has just graduated from CSUN Cum Laude and we are extremely proud of him. Because I was needed around home to help my son I began my business in my home office. I have a separate entrance and waiting room. Now that my son has graduated I have gone back to my roots and re-started my MFCC Internship and am counseling adolescents, adults and child that are challenged in many ways. I offer sessions on a sliding scale and the organization I work with FACT accepts some insurance.
