Dr. Krause’s exposure to the field of medicine began at a very early age when she accompanied her parents to doctor visits for her sick sister. It was during these visits that she had first-hand experience observing doctors and got an up-close view that sparked her interest in a career in medicine. Over the past 10 years, Dr. Krause has worked in the hospital setting caring for children of all ages and diagnosing and treating complex conditions. It was through this experience that she saw a variety of medical situations and gained extensive knowledge in all facets of pediatrics. Dr. Krause understands the importance of listening to the parents as they know their child best. She employs a team-based approach when it comes to caring for her patients with the goal of imparting her knowledge and experience on the parents. She completed her Master’s in Public Health (MPH) degree at University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) and received her medical degree from Sackler School of Medicine in Tel Aviv, Israel. Upon completion of her education, Dr. Krause worked as a resident at Rady Children’s Hospital in San Diego, California. She is fluent in medical Spanish and accepting patients from newborn to age 18. Outside of the office, Dr. Krause enjoys biking, hiking, and traveling with her husband and two children.
