Established in 1965, Maranatha High School is a college-preparatory, coeducational, Christian high school that offers more than 15 athletic teams and over 20 school clubs. It serves more than 700 students in grades 9 through 12. The school offers more than 90 advanced placement and honors courses in various areas, such as English, foreign languages, mathematics, performing arts, physical education, science, social studies, technology education, theology and visual arts. It offers career guidance and counseling, as well as a learning assistance program to students with documented disabilities. The school also provides a variety of athletic activities, such as cross country, football, tennis, volleyball, basketball, soccer, baseball, golf, softball, swimming, and track and field. Maranatha High School has earned dual accreditation from the Association of Christian Schools International and the Western Association of Schools and Colleges. The school is located in Pasadena, Calif.
