The La Quinta Finance Department is responsible for providing support services to all city operations and consists of a number of programs that include fiscal services and central services. The finance department staff provides a number of services, such as staffing for the investment advisory board, financial reporting, fixed assets accounting, budgets, general ledger accounting and assessment district. Other services also include accounts payable, accounts receivable, cashiering, cash and debt management, business and animal licenses, contract compliance and management information systems. The La Quinta Finance Department maintains its corporate headquarters in La Quinta, Calif.
