La Merced Intermediate School

La Merced Intermediate School provides academic and educational programs in grades five through eight. It offers classes in English, math, language art, science, computer technology, music, special education, physical education, health, foreign language, social studies and fine arts. It also offers sports programs in football, softball, volleyball, basketball, cross country, track and field, cheerleading, baseball and tennis. The school has a parent teacher association that assists teachers in the instructional program and also sponsors events to raise money to support various school programs. The school also offers various programs such as resource specialist program, special day classes, bilingual program, dual language enrichment program, and gifted and talented education. La Merced Intermediate School is operated by the Montebello Unified School District, and is located in Montebello, Calif.
