History
In the over 50 years of this Mom & Pop restauarant ownership has changed three times. The menu and the recipes have remained the same, and the flavor just keeps getting better. Berta Plantillas, owner for 28 years, put La Carreta on the map as a meeting point for local and state politicians with her longtime involvement of communtiy projects. Now in the hands of Maricela Robles, Business Woman of the Year 2008, the restaurant continues to flourish as a 'hole in the wall' with a vivacious flair and a taste second to none.
