History
Since its inception in February 2009, Guitarlina has been a source of joy to diverse students, families, and to the Brentwood, Oakley, Discovery Bay, Antioch, Pittsburg communities at large. Guitarlina has consistently provided excellent services to children and adults of all ages for 10 years and counting, guiding them through the many levels of music skills. We believe that it is never too late to learn to play an instrument and that every person should be able to play at least one musical instrument in their lifetime. Every student at Guitarlina plays for a purpose and is especially motivated by the quarterly recitals/mini concert that we have for friends, family and the general public. Our recitals are aimed at show-casing our talent as well as letting our family members know what we have been working hard to learn over the past few months. This recital is in some form, an exam that everyone passes because we make sure that you're trained and ready to continue to play.

Guitarlina School of Music is dedicated to raising future musicians with a concrete understanding and solid foundation in music theory and at least one musical instrument. Every student gets a chance to perform in a quarterly public concert where they show case their talents for friends and family.
