Games of Berkeley opened on June 1, 1980, established by and for the growing community of people who enjoyed games and puzzles of all kinds. In particular, the store served the then-exponential growth of roleplaying games (RPGs). The store has moved three times over the years, each time into larger spaces with an even greater selection of games, puzzles and toys of nearly every type (with the exception of electronic games).
