Established in 1924, Central City Association of Los Angeles is a business membership organization representing more than 450 businesses, trade associations and nonprofit organizations, and employing over 300,000 people. The association is one of Los Angeles premier business advocacy organizations, offering programs and services to shape public policy on a broad range of issues, and is one of the leading architects of the downtown renaissance program. In 1998, Central City Association formed the Downtown Center Business Improvement District that works in conjunction with the association to market and revitalize downtown Los Angeles. The association is located in Los Angeles.
