Coronado Schools Foundation is a nonprofit organization that helps raise funds for the Coronado Unified School District for times when government funding is inadequate. These funds go toward materials, equipment, salaries and programs for a higher quality of education and to maintain arts, music and culinary programs, as well as multimedia resources, and science, math and engineering programs. Donations are accepted throughout the year, and the foundation hosts an annual telethon, an auction and other events, as well. An annual Site Strategic Planning Meeting with students, teachers, parents and administrators is held to discuss how the funds should be used. An annual report, a calendar of upcoming fundraising events, and donation and partnership information is available on the website.
