Cardinal Newman High School is a Catholic, college preparatory school that enrolls more than 400 students, and offers classes from grades nine through 12. The school offers instruction in a variety of subjects including English, business studies, science and technology, religious studies, mathematics, American history, industrial technology, fine arts and physical education. It also organizes various extracurricular activities, such as mountain climbers, make-a-wish, science, book and art clubs, debate, animation and film clubs, interact club, snowboarding, and travel and outdoor clubs. The school offers a wide variety of sports programs, such as lacrosse, cross-country, water polo, soccer, tennis, basketball, rugby, football, wrestling, baseball, golf, swimming, and athletics. Located in Santa Rosa, Calif., Cardinal Newman High School also provides career guidance and counseling to students.
