Beyond Wireless deals with large quantities of cell phones. It buys wireless devices from corporations looking to unload surplus or outdated stock.
Established in the 1990s, Beyond Wireless operates CellphoneCycle, which buys phones from the public via the Internet or phone. Phones are shipped and checks are issued upon receipt. Devices with no value are sent to "U.S.-based recycling facilities that abide by the most stringent state and federal laws and guidelines," according to the Web site.
Philanthropists can also donate their return to hundreds of charities.
