Applied Aerospace Structures Corporation designs, develops and manufactures composite and metallic structures for both the aircraft and space industry. The company, also known as AASC, has worked extensively with metal bond products but has handled a large amount of composite products as well. Some of the processes that are performed at AASC are cocuring composite skins to core aluminum, Nomex, Korex, Kapton and Tedlar; plating of electroless nickel, silver and gold; metal processing such as phosphoric anodize/prime, per Boeing specifications, and vapor degreasing. Applied Aerospace Structures Corporation has manufactured aircraft hardware and components since 1956 and space hardware and components since 1968.
