Allied Electric Motor Service, headquartered in Fresno, Calif., is a distributor of electric and industrial supplies. It offers wholesale and retail electric supplies and tools, automation control systems, electric motor sales, electric motor repair, wire and cable and lighting supplies. The company carries more than 50,000 premium-branded and private-label products in stock from more than 600 manufacturers. Allied Electric became an Allen-Bradley/Rockwell automation distributor in 1964. Its motorshop division products include industrial and commercial motors, motor accessories, power transmission products, lubrication and drives. The motorshop also provides welder repair, hoist repair, bearings, belts, clutches and brakes, DC brushes, DC motors, AC and DC drives, gear motors and reducers, roller chains, sheaves and pulleys and sprockets.
