The Arizona Foundation for the Handicapped annually serves more than 400 individuals with physical and intellectual disabilities. The foundation offers training in the areas of communication, self-care, community awareness, social development, household chores and money management. It hosts excursions and trips to museums, the zoo, theaters and parks. The Arizona Foundation for the Handicapped provides transportation services for medical appointments, social events and personal tasks. The foundation offers assistance with daily activities, including meal preparation, housekeeping and personal hygiene. It provides vocational training and employment opportunities in assembly, collating, bulk mailing preparation, packaging and shrink-wrapping. In addition, the Arizona Foundation for the Handicapped maintains a location in Casa Grande, Ariz.
