Established in 1974, Changing Hands Bookstore began as an alternative school for kids. Located in Tempe, Ariz., the bookstore has more than 15,500- square foot facility. Phoenix New Times, Reader's Poll named Changing Hands Bookstore as the Best Bookstore for six consecutive years. It offers new and used books, new releases, poetry, autographed, consignments, etc. The bookstore also provides books on education, book clubs, gifts and events for kids. Changing Hands Bookstore has partnerships with Arizona Republic.

The last time I stepped into a bookstore was when I was getting my Master's degree. That was ages ago. This bookstore is a lot more pleasant. Changing Hands is more than your typical bookstores....
