Based in Anchorage, Alaska, Denali Family Services provides a variety of health services for children with emotional disorders and their families and caregivers. It is a charitable, nonprofit corporation serving the state residents since 1995. The agency serves children with mental illnesses and residing outside of psychiatric residential settings. It provides foster care and behavioral health care services for children. Denali Family Services offers individual, family and group psychotherapy services in combination with intensive care coordination and rehabilitative services. The agency serves nearly 150 consumers every month in the city and surrounding areas. It receives referrals from the office of children's services, local psychiatric hospitals, military bases, former consumers, homeless shelters and other health care providers.
