Located in Huntsville, Ala., The U.S. Space & Rocket Center is home to space camp and aviation challenge programs for potential engineers, scientists and astronauts. The center is also home to National Aeronautics and Space Administration s official visitor information center for Marshall Space Flight Center. Operational for more than 40 years, it is one of the leading manned space flight hardware museums in the world. The center features Spacedome Theater, Rocket Park, Shuttle Park and Educator Resourse Center. Main attractions at the Space & Rocket Center include Space Shot, G-Force Accelerator, Kids Cosmos Energy Depletion Zone, Apollo Cockpit Trainer, Discovery Theater, Mars Mission, and Mars Climbing Wall. It also offers various educational programs and training, rocket building and robotics, high-performance jet simulations, scenario- based missions, land and water survival training and flight dynamics.
