The idea for the terry cloth sweatband originated from Floyd Lindseth's experience as an Oil Field Worker, using a rag taped to his hard hat's suspension on hot days. This innovation led to the creation of a sweatband with hook and loop closure tape, quickly gaining popularity among co-workers and expanding to distributors worldwide.

Similarly, the Comfort Liner was developed out of a need for a winter liner with specific features for the Oil and Gas Industry. Named for its comfort and durability in Canadian winter conditions, the Comfort Liner has become a staple product.
